Lily took us to her church this morning. It brought Ray and I to tears. There was just something about sitting there and listening to worship songs being sung in Chinese and hearing many voices praying out loud, worshipping our Savior. It was very moving. We didn't understand much if anything that was being said, but I am so glad that we were able to experience church here with other believers.
Later, we went shopping for lychee fruit at an outdoor market. We've never had lychee fruit fresh. SO good! Lily had to teach us how to peel them open and then pop them in our mouths. We have found a new favorite! I hope we can find them back home.
Lily has been cooking for us and man-oh-man is she ever a great cook! We are heading to another market to try to find some of the things she uses for flavorings. Hopefully, when we get home I can take the packages with me and try to find them at H-Mart or Chinatown.
