Shopping with Ann

Today, Ray had the little girls all afternoon while Emmie and I went shopping with Ann Yang, from Red Thread. She is this teeny little thing and she can out walk just about anyone I know! She will take you to the hole in the wall little shops that have all the best bargains for everything from jade to pearls to clothing. Anything you want, Ann can find it for you for less.

We ended up on a huge pedestrian street that was SO jam-packed with people, it was a bit overwhelming. These pictures do not do it justice:






There were throngs of people as far as you could see. I felt so glad to be with Ann, who knew exactly where we were going!

On top of the fun time shopping, we also rode the subway! Once again, I was so thankful to be with Ann who guided us through the crowds of people to the right train. Emmie and I had a blast. Emmie was able to buy an awful lot of beads for her jewelry making class next semester, so she is very happy!
