Here is where we are staying

Here is the kitchen. Small but very efficient.

The opposite side of the dining room. That would be our wet laundry hanging on the racks.... Lily graciously let us wash a load of dirty clothes. And that half naked child is Betsy.


The bedroom where Ray, Betsy, and I sleep.


The bathroom. No squatty potty here, thank goodness!



Our hotel rooms were cancelled by the Langfang government, who needed them for some sort of convention, so at the last minute Lily offered us her home. I don't know what we would have done without her kind offer. Her home has been perfect for us, though I don't know if she would say the same about having us here..... Being that there are so many of us, we sort of have taken over her house as you can see by how comfortable Betsy feels being here!
