This isn't about Kari, but...

Betsy drew a picture of a face!! She is delayed quite a bit, so this is a big thing! She said it was a picture of BaBa....




She also "set" the table last night:



We had a wonderful Mother's Day. Complete with packing, stressing, and leftovers! Ray took me out to our favorite breakfast place after church this morning. Yumm! And Andrew brought me sushi for dinner! I feel blessed!

Now, if I can get all the packing and planning done I'll be just fine..... We are hoping to pack light, but since we are traveling with five going over and six coming home, that might be hard. Thankfully I got all the "gifts" into one large suitcase. We will mostly empty that out in Beijing.

I have one suitcase that is only for Beijing. That way, we won't be wasting time searching multiple suitcases for something. Did I mention that the Chinese government booted us out of our hotel???? They need it for some govt. meeting. Consequently, we are staying at the small apartment of someone that we know. Trying not to stress about that. It could be an awesome learning experience for MeiMei to see how people really live in China. But, on the downside, Betsy cries at night and I don't want to outstay our welcome. I have baby melatonin just in case....
