Darn, you can't see them.... There is a swarm of them flying outside the window. But, you can actually see the terrain today because it's NOT raining! Everyone in our group headed off to the Safari Park for the day. I stayed back with Betsy since she is still quite sick.
We took a walk around the hotel, got a Starbucks, and just people watched. This trip, there are a lot more countries represented at the hotel. It's fun to see all the different people walking through the lobby and they have several comfy couches from which to observe everyone!
We also had some excitement when I blew a fuse by plugging in the hot pot.... First a young woman came and inspected the problem. She couldn't fix it so she called her manager. The manager couldn't fix it so he called the engineer. Then all three of them came back and between the three of them and me pantomiming, they figured out that it was a fuse. So they called the ladder guy and finally between the five of us, they got the power back on! It was an interesting way to spend an hour stuck in the room.
I'll post more when everyone else gets back from the Safari Park.

Hilarious! My mom said that they used to have to call a person to come and change the light bulb at their house. Morlie
